1. About this notice

This notice is given under Sections 5 and 6 of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). It tells you, before you create an account, what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have. By ticking the consent box on the registration form you give your free, specific, informed, unconditional and unambiguous consent to the processing described here.

2. Who is the Data Fiduciary

KRYIL INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED ("Kryil", "we"), Workflow Ranka Junction, 3rd Floor, 224, KR Puram, Bengaluru – 560016, Karnataka, India, is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data you provide when you register and operate a nextdooh account. Grievance Officer / Data Protection contact: [email protected].

3. What personal data we collect

At registration and during use we collect: your name and email address, and account credentials (stored only as a secure hash). Optionally, you may provide your phone number, date of birth, gender, company name, company size and industry, and postal address. When you operate screens we also process device and technical data (device identifiers, MAC address, model, OS/app version, IP address at sync time, storage and playback telemetry, and error/crash logs). We also keep server access and audit logs for security.

4. Purposes of processing

We process this data to: create and secure your account; provide and operate the signage service and the read-only API; communicate service, billing and support messages; verify your email; automatically moderate uploaded media for safety; prevent fraud and abuse; and meet legal, tax and audit obligations. We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising, and we do not use your media to train generative-AI models.

5. Who we share it with

We use a small set of sub-processors, all bound by data-processing agreements: Microsoft Azure (hosting, in India), Zoho ZeptoMail (transactional email, in India), Cashfree Payments (subscription payments, in India), and Microsoft Azure Content Safety (media moderation). We never store full card details — those are handled by the payment processor. See our Privacy Policy (/privacy) for the full list.

7. Your rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to: (a) access a summary of your personal data and how it is processed; (b) correct, complete, update or erase your personal data; (c) nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; and (d) grievance redressal. You can export your data and erase your account yourself from your account settings, or email [email protected].

9. Retention

We keep your personal data only as long as your account is active or as needed for the purposes above and applicable legal/audit retention windows, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Proof-of-play logs are kept 3 months, error/status logs 90 days, audit logs 24 months, and billing records for the period Indian tax law requires. See our Privacy Policy for the full schedule.
