Commercial-grade

Native packages for purpose-built signage hardware. MagicINFO / SuperSign / BrightAuthor:connected compatible.

Live

Tizen player (Samsung Smart Signage)

Tizen 4.0+ · QM / QH / QB series

Wrapped player .wgt that loads the same renderer as the browser. MagicINFO-compatible. Native power-schedule integration.

Live

webOS player (LG Commercial)

webOS 4.0+ · UH5C / UH7F series

Packaged for LG webOS commercial signage. Same renderer, native input-source + brightness control via SuperSign.

  • v1.3 · ~2 KB unsigned package
  • For a signed SuperSign-distributable build, email [email protected]
Live

BrightSign OS

HD · XD · XT · 4K · LS series · BrightSign OS 8.5+

Thin BrightScript wrapper (autorun.brs) that loads the live kiosk renderer in a fullscreen HTML widget at boot. Copy autorun.brs to a FAT32 microSD, insert into the player, power-cycle — pair code shows in under 10 seconds. Same auto-updating renderer as every other surface.

  • v1.0 · ~5 KB package
  • Tested against the BrightSign 8.5 scripting reference; runs unmodified on HD/XD/XT/4K/LS players

Other & specialised

Linux, Pi, and the operator-side admin apps. Less common but fully supported — including custom builds on request.

Live

Linux — Ubuntu / Debian

Ubuntu 22.04+ · Debian 12+ · Linux Mint 21+ · Pop!_OS 22.04+

Native .deb package. Drops the kiosk launcher in /usr/bin, the application-menu entry in /usr/share/applications, and a system-wide autostart hook in /etc/xdg/autostart. Depends on chromium-browser or google-chrome — apt resolves it for you.

  • v1.1 · ~3 KB package
  • sudo apt install ./nextdooh-kiosk_1.1_all.deb
Live

Raspberry Pi OS

Pi 3 / 4 / 5 · Pi OS Bookworm or Bullseye · ARM64 / ARMHF

Same kiosk .deb as Ubuntu — architecture-independent, depends on Chromium (pre-installed on Pi OS Desktop). After install, sign out and back in: the kiosk takes over the screen. Cheapest hardware target in the range.

  • v1.1 · ~3 KB package
  • Tested on Pi 4 (4 GB) and Pi 5 (8 GB) · 1080p @ 60 fps · sudo apt install ./nextdooh-kiosk_1.1_all.deb
Live

nextdooh Admin · Android

Android 8+ · APK

Not a player — the operator's phone-side admin tool. Pair screens with a camera QR-scan, push commands (reboot / install update / power off), receive push notifications when any screen drops offline, compose emergency alerts, manage groups and media. Same JWT as the dashboard.

  • v0.5.0 · 82 MB
  • Side-load: Play Protect will warn — tap Install anyway. Play Store submission planned for v1.0.

nextdooh Admin · iOS

iOS 15+ · TestFlight

Same operator app on iPhone. Distributed via TestFlight while we work through Apple Developer Program enrollment. Email us to be added to the beta.

  • Target: Q3 2026
  • Same codebase (React Native + Expo) as the Android build above.

Need a build for a different platform?

BrightSign, Chrome OS, an unusual panel — we can usually wrap the same renderer in a few days. Tell us the OS and the device, and we'll ship you a tested package.
